Speech Language Pathologist in New Kensington, PA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Pennsylvania
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience in schools highly desirable
• Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and parents
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students as assigned
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student learning and progress
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required
• Deliver services in compliance with state and federal guidelines
