Step into a rewarding contract role supporting secondary students across three campuses. In this position, you'll work with a caseload of 50-60 students, providing direct speech-language services that make a real difference in each student's educational journey. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and wraps up on May 26, 2026, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours over five days.

This opportunity welcomes both experienced clinicians holding their CCCs and SLP candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year, as long as you hold an active Texas SLP License or SLP Intern License for CFs. Collaboration is a core aspect of this role, as you will partner with educators and families to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP License or SLP Intern License for Clinical Fellows
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; open to CFs
  • Background in school-based speech-language pathology, especially with pediatric/secondary populations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, write progress notes, and participate in ARD meetings
  • Manage a caseload of 50-60 secondary-age students across three schools
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure optimal student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
