This full-time, school-year role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity.
Leverage your expertise in a collaborative educational environment, delivering high-quality physical therapy services to students in need. All services are provided on-site—remote or virtual options are not available for this assignment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license as a Physical Therapist through the Florida Department of Health (DOH)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based therapy (from Pre K to grade 12)
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations within the district
- Familiarity with providing services to a varied caseload
- Commitment to upholding district protocols regarding safety and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement individualized treatment plans for students requiring physical therapy services
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support each student’s educational goals
- Conduct therapy sessions and reassess students’ progress throughout the academic year
- Travel to assigned schools as scheduled, maintaining accurate records for each location
- Complete all credentialing steps, including fingerprinting and JLA badge verification, to ensure timely clearance for school entry
