What you'll bring:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to your start date—travelers welcome
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Robust assessment and intervention abilities
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • Eagerness to contribute actively as a team player
  • Commitment to fostering mental health and well-being

Your contributions will include:

  • Conducting evaluations and developing intervention plans tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes
  • Providing consultation, crisis intervention, and mental health support within school buildings
  • Working onsite across 1–2 school buildings as part of a dedicated team
  • Helping expand the psychologist's role—from testing to broader student support and school-wide initiatives

Environment and Details:

  • Full-time, contract position covering 37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite role, engaging directly with school communities
  • Two school psychologists needed, with caseloads assigned to best match strengths and interests
