What you'll bring:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to your start date—travelers welcome
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Robust assessment and intervention abilities
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills
- Eagerness to contribute actively as a team player
- Commitment to fostering mental health and well-being
Your contributions will include:
- Conducting evaluations and developing intervention plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes
- Providing consultation, crisis intervention, and mental health support within school buildings
- Working onsite across 1–2 school buildings as part of a dedicated team
- Helping expand the psychologist's role—from testing to broader student support and school-wide initiatives
Environment and Details:
- Full-time, contract position covering 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite role, engaging directly with school communities
- Two school psychologists needed, with caseloads assigned to best match strengths and interests
