As a highly qualified paraprofessional, your commitment and expertise will shine as you assist in classroom management, student support, and daily routines—including toileting and hands-on care. Your ability to build relationships, collaborate with teachers, and create an inclusive classroom environment is essential.

To be considered, candidates must:

• Provide a current resume and proof of high qualification:
  • Either passing the MN Para Educator Exam,
  • Or holding at least 60 college credits, validated by official transcripts.
• Clearly indicate the elementary school you are most interested in supporting.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a strong sense of initiative in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Be prepared for a transition to direct employment with the district after the 90-day contract (422 hours).

Key responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support students’ learning and behavioral goals.
• Engage with children individually and in small groups to reinforce educational concepts.
• Help maintain a safe, positive atmosphere and provide support for toileting and personal care needs.
• Adapt and assist with varied classroom activities as required.
