Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid SLP-CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric settings, schools, or teletherapy highly valued
- SLPA credentials and experience considered for relevant school-based roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents across K-12 grade levels
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Offer education and guidance to teachers and families related to communication development
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services in person at school sites within the district
Position Details:
- Full-time contract: 40 hours per week
- School year: July 27, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Multiple openings at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Accessible locations south of Atlanta, west of Peachtree City, and near Decatur
