Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in New York State
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Knowledge of school-based speech-language services
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with classroom staff and special education personnel
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely progress reports and documentation
  • Participate in meetings and training as required
