This full-time, school-based contract position focuses on delivering high-quality SLP services to a diverse student population. Set within the North Houston area, this role offers an engaging environment for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) ready to make an impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Openness to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt to various school settings (mostly single-site, some itinerant roles may be available)
  • Professionalism and commitment to supporting student growth

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide speech-language therapy interventions to students in need
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Offer consultative support and guidance to teachers and school staff
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities

This contract opportunity runs from August 12, 2026 through May 28, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek aligned to the school schedule. Openings are available in the north, northeast, and south areas of the district, primarily based at a single school site, though some itinerant roles may be possible. Caseload details and age groups will be determined based on assignment.
