Job Description
Embark on an impactful opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist working full-time in the Corrales, NM area. This contract role plays a crucial part in providing psychological services to elementary and secondary school students. You’ll carry a manageable caseload of 40-50 students and collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to promote educational and emotional well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Current NM Teacher certification (NMPED required)
- Open to applicants holding either Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or aptitude for working at both elementary and secondary school levels
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative consultation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to support student growth
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all services provided
