A growing organization is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of payables.

Overview:
This role manages invoice processing, payments, and vendor coordination while supporting process improvements and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and code vendor invoices, ensuring accurate matching to purchase orders and resolving variances
  • Prioritize and schedule payments to balance cash flow and vendor commitments
  • Issue payments via ACH, check, and credit card, following internal controls and fraud prevention measures
  • Reconcile assigned accounts and maintain accurate ledger activity
  • Serve as a contact for vendor questions and research discrepancies
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Handle EDI transactions and monitor for accuracy
  • Partner with internal teams to correct purchasing, receiving, or pricing issues
  • Assist with 1099's
  • Contribute to broader accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Experience working with an automated AP process or assisting with an implementation to an AI driven process strongly preferred
  • Must be dependable and open to a full time, onsite role
Pay Details: $46,000.00 to $56,000.00 per year
