This full-time position ensures you’ll work up to 37.5 hours weekly during the 2026–2027 school year, supporting a diverse caseload across multiple campuses serving students from Pre K to 12th grade—all onsite near beautiful Fort Myers, FL.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist license (issued by FL DOH)
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Experience in school-based Physical Therapy settings is highly valued
- Flexibility and adaptability, as you’ll travel to a range of schools throughout the district
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Dedication to fostering student independence, mobility, and physical well-being
- Willingness and ability to meet all credentialing needs, including state fingerprinting and JLA badge requirements
Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students with a variety of physical needs
- Conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Tracking progress and documentation
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to promote the best outcomes for each child
- Managing a dynamic, itinerant schedule and caseload across several school sites
This is an onsite-only contract role (remote options are not available), ideal for therapists who thrive on in-person interactions and a hands-on approach.
