Job Description
Step into a dynamic Cath Lab nursing position, providing critical care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This contract role offers you the opportunity to work closely with a skilled interdisciplinary team, utilizing advanced technology in a well-equipped cardiac catheterization setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Proficiency in monitoring, circulating, scrubbing, and patient recovery during Cath Lab procedures
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergent cardiac situations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and assess patients’ condition and vital signs, including recognition and response to complications
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals during procedures
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, post-operative care, and home instructions
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all interventions
- Document all patient care, assessments, and procedural outcomes accurately and timely
- Prepare and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
