What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Demonstrated previous experience in school-based settings
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and meet all credentialing requirements
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
Your Role:
- Assess students using standardized tools to determine eligibility for special education services
- Develop thorough, clear evaluation reports
- Collaborate with staff and families during multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel between two district schools to manage assigned caseloads
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve a range of age groups, ensuring fair, equitable evaluations and support
