Litigation Paralegal (Trial)
Location: Oakland, CA
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 DOE
Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days on-site
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a law firm, seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex civil litigation matters in both California state and federal courts. This role is focused on discovery, case management, and trial preparation, with regular involvement in trial proceedings.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a law firm, seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex civil litigation matters in both California state and federal courts. This role is focused on discovery, case management, and trial preparation, with regular involvement in trial proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial
- Draft and assist with pleadings, discovery, motions, and pretrial filings
- Manage discovery, including document review, productions, and organization of case materials
- Prepare case chronologies, witness lists, and exhibit indexes
- Provide hands-on trial preparation and assist attorneys during trial as needed
- Conduct legal and factual research using court databases and research platforms
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and witnesses throughout litigation
- Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong experience with discovery, record review, chronologies, and trial preparation required
- Familiarity with California and federal court rules and procedures, including e-filing systems
- Required experience with litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, or similar platforms)
- Ability to manage high-volume case materials and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Trial involvement or interest in supporting trial teams required
- Full-time (7.5-hour workday)
- On-site 5 days per week during initial 90-day training period
- Hybrid schedule (2 days in-office / 3 remote) thereafter
