Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license for the state of Idaho, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Previous school-based experience or fieldwork supporting children and adolescents preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and school staff.
  • Comfort working independently and adapting to individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support speech-language pathologists with implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals for students.
  • Conduct screening and assist in the delivery of direct therapy services under supervision.
  • Prepare materials and assist with documentation, data collection, and progress updates.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, helping create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times.
