Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Oakland, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pharmacists are needed for per diem positions across multiple locations in California, including Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico). This opportunity allows experienced retail pharmacists to provide flexible coverage on an as-needed basis, typically 1-2 shifts per week.

Location:

• Sacramento (3-4 positions)
• Bay Area/North Bay (2 positions)
• Northern CA: Redding and Chico (2 positions)
• Must be willing to commute locally within these areas

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional pharmacy services in a retail environment
• Open and close the pharmacy according to company procedures
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians effectively
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Administer immunizations as certified
• Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software for pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in California
• Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience managing pharmacy technicians and handling opening/closing procedures
• Immunization certification is required
• Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) is highly desired
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to multiple locations
• Ideal candidates are currently working part-time and seeking additional shifts
