Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for a daycare center setting. Make a meaningful difference by supporting a caseload of 36-40 young learners in an onsite role beginning as soon as possible, continuing through May 21, 2027. As a valued member of the educational community, you’ll play an essential part in fostering communication skills and enriching students’ educational experiences.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active and current SLP license required; candidates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered
- Credentialed as SLP-CCC or pursuing certification
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a daycare or early childhood environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech/language therapy to a diverse caseload of 36-40 children in a daycare center setting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and document progress for each student
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to promote optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and regulatory policies
- Engage in regular communication with families about student progress and strategies for continued development
