Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time, onsite position serving students at Tiverton Middle School in Tiverton, Rhode Island.

This opportunity is ideal for an SLP seeking a manageable school-based caseload and a consistent two-day-per-week schedule. The selected candidate will provide direct speech and language services to approximately 20 middle school students at one school location.

Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to middle school students
Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
Develop and support IEP goals based on individual student needs
Attend and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
Complete required documentation, progress reports, and compliance tasks
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Contribute to student support planning and school-based team meetings

Schedule

Start Date: August 26, 2026
End Date: June 11, 2027
Schedule: Two days per week
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Caseload: Approximately 20 students
School Assignment: Tiverton Middle School
Service Delivery: In person only
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Rate: To be determined

Qualifications

Active Rhode Island SLP license required
Active Rhode Island Department of Education certification required
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
Must be available to work onsite two days per week
SLPAs will not be considered for this position
