Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license
• CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), or willingness to obtain and maintain annual certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
• Genuine interest in providing individualized instruction and support

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, implement behavior interventions, and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster positive relationships with students to encourage social, emotional, and academic growth
• Support crisis prevention and intervention strategies when necessary
• Ensure compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
