Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure valid for practice in Nevada
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of IEP process and familiarity with special education documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Adaptability and creativity in addressing diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized OT assessments for students referred for services
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans addressing sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skill goals
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to facilitate supportive learning environments
• Participate actively in IEP meetings providing insights and recommendations for student accommodations
• Document progress, maintain required records, and ensure state/federal compliance
• Engage students in both individual and group therapy, adapting interventions for different abilities
• Provide training, resources, and support to school personnel and caregivers
