Job Description
Experience a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students on the Southeast Texas Coast as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This full-time role, running from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, centers on supervising district SLPAs and carrying out a range of standard SLP responsibilities. Candidates who can work on-site are strongly preferred; however, experienced virtual providers will also be considered—please specify your availability and experience with either modality.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License (mandatory).
- Expertise in school-based settings and strong knowledge of SLP best practices.
- Prior experience supervising SLPAs is highly desirable.
- Proficient using Frontline/E-Sped platforms for effective documentation and collaboration.
- Able to meet Texas fingerprint clearance requirements promptly.
- Adaptability to be assigned across multiple campuses, with caseload details to be determined.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse school teams.
- Former employees are not eligible at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor district SLPAs, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse K–12 student population.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Document progress using Frontline/E-Sped software platforms.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families.
- Stay current on relevant special education laws and district policies.
