Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Buffalo, MN. This position runs from August 24th through June 2nd, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll primarily work with elementary-aged children, while also having the chance to support some secondary students across a caseload of 40–50.
You’ll play a vital role in delivering essential therapy services, conducting evaluations, and participating in meetings to help students reach their communication and academic goals. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current MN SLP license (submit copy or screenshot with your application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with typical SLP responsibilities: therapy, assessments, and documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary and some secondary students
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Engage with families and staff to promote student success
