This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Ellettsville, IN, focuses on providing speech-language services to elementary-aged students—primarily those in grades 2 and 3—with the possibility of working with both older and younger students as needs arise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Indiana licensure required for SLPs in school settings
  • Experience supporting students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong evaluation and reevaluation skills for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Ability to serve as Teacher of Record (TOR) or Teacher of Service (TOS) as needed
  • Excellent organization and communication abilities
  • Commitment to collaborative work with staff, families, and other service providers

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language interventions for a caseload of 30–50 students
  • Evaluate and reevaluate students to determine ongoing or changing service needs
  • Serve as TOR/TOS, actively managing assigned student cases
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and communicating plans
  • Travel between 2–3 school sites as assigned to meet student needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and family members to maximize student potential

This role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a flexible schedule ranging from 18–21 hours per week over 3–5 days. The opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, while working within a supportive school setting.
