Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school-age students is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of IEP process, assessments, and crisis intervention
- Ability to develop evidence-based interventions and recommendations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Design and implement intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Promote positive school climate and mental health awareness through proactive involvement
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
