This contract position runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027 and is located in a nurturing, onsite Pre-K environment serving young learners in grades K-2 who are English Language Learners.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate ESL and/or dual language endorsements.
- Experience with curriculum planning, instructional delivery, and age-appropriate classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Pre-K ESL students’ academic and language needs.
- Employ research-based teaching strategies adapted for dual language learners.
- Assess student progress regularly, adapting instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with families, support staff, and fellow educators to ensure each child’s success.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and development.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing learning.
