Enhance young learners’ communication skills in a dynamic school setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)! This contract opportunity focuses on supporting elementary-level students and making a lasting difference through speech and language services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license is required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings preferred
  • Familiarity with conducting evaluations, therapy, and participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 60–80 students
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the duration of the assignment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to elementary students in partnership with supervising speech-language pathologists
  • Implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in evaluations and ARDs as required by school protocols
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each student
  • Support compliance with state and federal regulations governing SLPA practice
