Qualifications and Experience:
- Current or pending state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech therapy
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting for students
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, individually and in small groups
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document a range of communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for each student’s unique needs
- Consult with educators and parents to support students’ academic and social participation
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Advocate for student needs, helping to foster an inclusive learning environment
