Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Wauconda, IL

Make a meaningful impact working with school-aged children as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the full academic year. This opportunity offers a part-time schedule and allows you to provide essential support to students’ communication development through in-person or virtual modalities. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure upon start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to providing evidence-based, compassionate interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized educational program (IEP) goals
• Deliver therapy through both direct and consultative services, including teletherapy as applicable
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
• Work cooperatively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress
