Occupational Therapist School Setting - Oak Creek, WI

This full-time, contract Occupational Therapist opening offers the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the 26/27 school year, with the potential for renewal based on fit and performance.

You’ll join a positive environment where teamwork is valued. Your primary caseload will include 35-45 students, mostly in elementary grades, ensuring direct, meaningful connections with children at a formative stage. Benefit from the support of two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who will help you deliver comprehensive, high-quality therapy tailored to each child’s needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active OT license in Wisconsin (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to engaging, child-centered interventions
• Ability to work alongside COTAs to maximize student outcomes

Duties Include:

• Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for students
• Providing direct occupational therapy to support educational access and participation
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and school teams to integrate therapy goals
• Supervising and mentoring COTAs for effective program delivery
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
