Key Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license
- Current Ohio Educator Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Eagerness to be flexible and responsive to a dynamic caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess student speech, language, and communication abilities through standardized and informal tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services onsite, utilizing evidence-based methods and tailored interventions
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and regularly communicate with families and staff
- Support students’ participation and progress in general education classrooms
- Consult with educators and offer strategies to promote successful inclusion
- Adapt quickly as caseload details are finalized to deliver high-quality services
