Exciting opportunities await talented School Psychologists seeking to make a meaningful impact in educational settings near Fort Myers, FL! This full-time contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering professionals a chance to work closely with students and educators across several school locations on an itinerant basis.
The role centers on delivering high-quality school psychological services, with key responsibilities such as comprehensive student assessments, accurate report writing, and active participation in IEP meetings. Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, you will help support the academic and social-emotional success of students across a variety of age groups and campuses.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license is required
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, preferably in school-based environments
- Proficiency in written reports and the IEP process
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage assignments across multiple school sites as needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological tests and evaluations
- Complete thorough and timely written reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant role
- Provide consultative support and intervention planning as needed for student success
This is an on-site-only position (not open to remote or VOCO arrangements), ensuring professionals have the opportunity to build strong relationships within each school community.
