Begin an exciting contract opportunity making a difference as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This flexible position is open to both full-time and part-time professionals and will involve providing services across several districts in Northwestern Illinois. The assignment begins in early August 2026 and runs through late May 2027, offering the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive school environment alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification required
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students is highly valued
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) is not required for this role
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between assigned districts in an itinerant capacity

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies
  • Provide ongoing training and consultation for school personnel in best practices for student behavior support
  • Collect and analyze data to drive treatment decisions and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Serve as an itinerant BCBA, providing services as needed in Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, Dixon Public Schools, Hiawatha SD, Kaneland, and/or St. Charles
