Exciting opportunity available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible, contract role in a supportive educational setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Serving 1-2 classrooms near the Oroville and Paradise region, this position is ideal for those who are passionate about helping students succeed and thrive in their communication skills.

This part-time position primarily requires onsite presence two days per week for direct services, with the unique openness to candidates interested in a virtual format as well. Additionally, if you possess the experience and desire to mentor others, your support with SLPA supervision will be highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility; CCC or CFY considered
  • Experience or strong interest in K-12 school-based practice
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance guidelines
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability and willingness to supervise SLPAs
  • Comfort with in-person and/or virtual service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech/language assessment and intervention for students
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
  • Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (if applicable)
  • Participate in related meetings and professional development
