Travel Hospital Staff Pharmacist in Cottonwood, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 250-bed hospital in Redding, CA, offering a temp-to-hire position. The hospital utilizes Cerner and Omnicell systems, providing an excellent environment for professional growth within a supportive healthcare setting.

Location:

• Redding, CA

Schedule:

• Choice of four 10-hour shifts per week or a 7-on/7-off rotation
• Coverage includes day and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide consultative services
• Manage pharmacokinetics and other clinical pharmacy tasks
• Support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy and medication order verification
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell preferred
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and open to travel assignments in Northern California
• PGY1 residency completion is highly desirable but not mandatory
