Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Prior experience providing psychological services in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level
• Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
• Strong skills in counseling, intervention planning, and behavior management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal assessments and provide comprehensive evaluations of students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
• Deliver direct counseling and consultation services to students in need of support
• Offer crisis intervention and assist with school-wide initiatives to promote positive mental health
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and local special education regulations
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to remain current with best practices
