This role is perfect for professionals skilled in meeting the diverse needs of school-aged children, particularly those experienced or interested in working with both 5th graders and providing additional overflow support for younger elementary students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana SLP license or certification is required
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-based speech therapy (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY welcome)
  • Deep understanding of communication disorders common in children
  • Capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention plans for students in 5th grade as well as elementary overflow
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of services and progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals
  • Participate in parent meetings, case conferences, and school team discussions
  • Supervise or mentor clinical fellows (CFY) if applicable
