Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
- Experience in educational settings preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of IEP process and progress monitoring
- Efficient time management, organization, and verbal/written communication skills
- Able to cultivate positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Track and report student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Support generalization of communication strategies in educational contexts
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and compliance standards
