Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to support elementary students in a dynamic school setting near Liberty, MO. Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with elementary-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of best practices for managing a diverse caseload and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a caseload of elementary students, with 21 designated for case management
- Serve as case manager, coordinating support plans and collaborating with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy to a total of 76 students, utilizing the assistance of an onsite SLP-A for 2–3 days per week
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP development
- Participate in team meetings, support supervision of SLP-A as needed, and adhere to current standards of practice
- Ensure compliance with school, district, and state requirements
