Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to support elementary students in a dynamic school setting near Liberty, MO. This contract opportunity covers the upcoming school year, spanning late August through May, and offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference within a well-supported team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) mandatory
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices for managing a diverse caseload and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to a caseload of elementary students, with 21 designated for case management
  • Serve as case manager, coordinating support plans and collaborating with educators and families
  • Deliver direct therapy to a total of 76 students, utilizing the assistance of an onsite SLP-A for 2–3 days per week
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP development
  • Participate in team meetings, support supervision of SLP-A as needed, and adhere to current standards of practice
  • Ensure compliance with school, district, and state requirements
