Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, particularly in school settings
- Ability to create and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Patience, empathy, and a dedication to encouraging student development
- Familiarity with documentation and data tracking in compliance with district requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA interventions and techniques as specified by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Support students with behavioral and developmental needs during the school day
- Collect, record, and report data on student progress and behaviors
- Work one-on-one or in small group settings, tailoring interventions to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with educational staff and contribute to team meetings regarding student progress
- Assist in developing positive behavioral supports and fostering a supportive classroom environment
