Qualifications:

  • Current New Mexico state SLP license.
  • New Mexico Teacher certification (NMPED required).
  • Open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and Certified Clinically Competent (CCC) SLPs.
  • Experience in school-based settings or a strong interest in working with student populations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services for elementary and secondary students, addressing a wide range of communication disorders.
  • Complete screenings, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with IEP requirements and district procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment programs and goals for students.
  • Consult with teachers and other staff to support student learning and participation in the classroom.
  • Maintain organized documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required compliance paperwork.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
