Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current, valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Active Louisiana Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential
- School-based experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized
- Strong knowledge of designing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral interventions in school settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to fulfill all district credentialing requirements, including a drug screen and fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans for students
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support across assigned schools (number of sites and caseload will be clarified prior to start)
- Train and collaborate with school staff and caregivers to promote generalization of behavioral strategies
- Collect, analyze, and report on behavioral data to ensure progress and program fidelity
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide professional recommendations
