Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support middle and high school students in a vibrant school setting near Upper Darby, PA. This full-time contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and requires a commitment to working onsite, helping students reach their communication goals and thrive in an urban educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC certification required, with strong experience in school-based roles.
  • Demonstrated success working with middle and high school caseloads.
  • Previous experience in urban educational settings highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with general SLP duties and IEP processes.
  • Ability to complete all Pennsylvania state clearance requirements prior to start.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • Capable of maintaining a consistent schedule between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM; no flexibility in working hours.
  • Comfortable with both the district environment and location.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students onsite.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and re-evaluations, and develop IEP goals tailored to student needs.
  • Maintain organized, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
  • Act as a proactive member of the school's multidisciplinary team.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
