School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pinson, Alabama

From August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, you will serve a diverse group of approximately 50 students, helping them overcome speech and language barriers to unlock their full academic and social potential. The schedule follows a consistent Monday–Friday routine from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, aligning with the school calendar.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid SLP state license and educator certification (required)
• Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with teachers and staff
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students ranging in needs and ages within the elementary setting
• Conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech and language difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation of services provided
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to guide student programming
