Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Laurel, Maryland

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in school-based or educational settings
• Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing effective behavior intervention plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to train and mentor educators, support staff, and families
• Compassionate, solution-oriented approach to behavioral challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive functional behavior assessments and create tailored intervention plans for students
• Consult with teachers and staff to implement strategies that foster student success and inclusive learning environments
• Monitor progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings or multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for appropriate behavioral supports
• Offer workshops, coaching, and ongoing guidance to school personnel and families
• Ensure all interventions are in line with ethical standards, policies, and regulations
