Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in school-based or educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing effective behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to train and mentor educators, support staff, and families
- Compassionate, solution-oriented approach to behavioral challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive functional behavior assessments and create tailored intervention plans for students
- Consult with teachers and staff to implement strategies that foster student success and inclusive learning environments
- Monitor progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings or multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for appropriate behavioral supports
- Offer workshops, coaching, and ongoing guidance to school personnel and families
- Ensure all interventions are in line with ethical standards, policies, and regulations
