Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a difference in the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This full-time contract position offers a dynamic assignment supporting students at Justice Alan Page Elementary and, following a scheduled maternity leave, moving into a flexible role across multiple sites. You'll play a critical part in supporting students' communication needs, including those requiring compensatory services due to previous coverage gaps.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Minnesota School SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and data collection
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate, flexible, and able to adapt to changing assignments and building needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students preK–12 according to IEPs
- Support Justice Alan Page Elementary during an initial maternity leave assignment
- Transition to servicing additional sites within the district as coverage needs arise throughout the year
- Deliver compensatory services to students who missed SLP support during previous uncovered leaves
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ learning and communication skills
- Maintain accurate records, complete assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
