Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Huntsville, AL

Step into a meaningful opportunity as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in grades K-5. In this contract position, you'll focus on making a significant difference in the lives of approximately 55 students on your caseload. Your work will help shape their communication skills and impact their academic and social success.

Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families, providing specialized interventions within a supportive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SLP who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about school-based speech therapy.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience in pediatric or K-12 speech-language therapy, preferably within a school setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
• Teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Support students in achieving their communication and academic goals
