You'll provide essential services across three locations each week. Your expertise will benefit students in self-contained classrooms and those on a speech-only caseload, ensuring impactful support for learners with complex needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure/certification for SLP in Illinois
  • Prior experience with school-based or pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and passionate about helping students thrive

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as assigned
  • Work 1 day/week in a self-contained complex needs classroom
  • Spend 1 day/week in a similar classroom environment
  • Support a speech-only caseload for a half day each week
  • Travel between school sites as part of your weekly schedule
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with school staff
  • Conduct comprehensive and focused assessments
  • Consult with classroom teachers and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes
