ESL Gen Ed Teacher - Waukegan, IL

Multiple roles are available:

• Two positions: 5th Grade Dual Language Math/Science
• One position: 5th Grade Dual Language Social Studies/English Language Arts
• One position: 6th Grade Dual Language Math/Science
• One position: K-2 English Second Language Teacher (PREK responsibilities)

All positions are fully onsite and run from August 17 through May 27, 2027.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements (please specify subject area and endorsements in your application)
• Solid track record of curriculum planning, lesson design, and instructional delivery
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Prior experience with ESL instruction is advantageous for the K-2 ESL position

• Create and implement engaging lessons tailored to grade level and subject
• Support differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including dual language or ESL students
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and instruction methods
