Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites and ages
- Up-to-date CPR certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students across four school sites
- Manage a steady caseload of 14 students, delivering direct and consultative support as needed
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care tailored to each student's needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to facilitate student success in the academic environment
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in alignment with school and district requirements
Working hours for this role are part-time, totaling 24 hours each week and spread over three to four consistent days. The assignment runs from early September to late May, offering a predictable schedule ideal for maintaining work-life balance.
