This travel pharmacist opportunity in Ft Bragg, CA offers a dynamic role within a hospital pharmacy setting. The assignment spans 26 weeks, with an ASAP start, and features a 4 days per week schedule of 10-hour day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Collaborate and consult directly with nurses and physicians regarding medication therapies
  • Support the chemotherapy program with related responsibilities when applicable
  • Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell, with transition to EPIC in progress

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid California pharmacist license is required
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred to manage inpatient workflows confidently
  • Ability to work full-time hours consistently throughout the assignment
  • Familiarity or experience with chemotherapy protocols is a plus
  • Proficient using Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy software, with adaptability to EPIC systems
